25 hours total in-flight supervised

With a Recreational license you can:

Fly a singe-engine, non high-performance aircraft

Carry ONE passenger only

Act as pilot-in-command of an ultra-light airplane
Requirements:
45 hours in-flight training including:
17 hours of dual instruction
12 hours of supervised solo
flight time
40 hours classroom instruction
With a Private license you can:
Exercise all the privileges of a recreational
license

Act as pilot-in-command OR co-pilot
·
No passenger restrictions
·
No restrictions on aircraft type*
*Additional training may be required depending on
the type of aircraft

A Private Pilot License
200 hours total time including:
100 hours pilot-in-command including;
30 hours supervised
pilot-in-command time
35 hours dual instruction
80 hours classroom/supervised instruction
With a Commercial license you can:
